Big Sur Anniversary

So I haven’t shared many images from my trip to California yet. I’ll be completely honest it took me a while to be able to look through the photos without becoming sad and missing everything about this trip. I loved my time in California – it was eye opening and exactly what I needed in the middle of a bitter cold nyc winter.

As my busy season picks up full swing next week, I’m sitting here with a long to do list to get through before the end of the weekend. One of those items on the list is to blog my trip. So here’s a piece of my trip to start!  Slightly out of order but who’s counting?

My first part of the trip was spent at Photo Field Trip in El Capitan Canyon.  Full blog post on that part of the trip coming soon!

Once Field Trip was over, my dear friend and photographer, Ashley Caroline, and I went on an epic road trip up to Big Sur. Ashley knew a couple living in Northern CA whose wedding she had photographed a few years back. They met us at Pfeiffer State Beach for an anniversary session and Ashley was kind enough to let me tag along for their shoot. The light in California is seriously unreal and this shoot is one of my favorites for so many reasons!
