The Met Engagement

The past two weeks have been pretty insanely awesome. After being cooped up inside all winter, the weather finally turned just in time and I captured four beautiful engagement sessions last week. I ended last week with a hugeeee and I mean huge smile on my face. I’m so excited to start off by sharing Nicole + Jim’s engagement session.

When I first met Nicole I mentioned doing an engagement session at sunrise and she loved the idea right off the bat. We took their engagement photos around The Met, Central Park and The Guggenheim… at sunrise. Yep! It was pretty unreal. If you haven’t woken up and wandered around the city before the rest of the city wakes up then I strongly suggest you start setting your alarm a little bit earlier in the morning. The streets were empty, there were no tourists and the light was unreal. I felt like I was hanging out with friends for the two hours we were together and I honestly didn’t want the session to end. Waking up at 4 am was well worth it!

I am so excited for Nicole + Jim’s big day coming up in November in Brooklyn!
