Williamsburg Styled Elopement
I put together this shoot with my good friend and stylist, Allison Koehler. When the wedding season slows down I love working on shoots where you come up with a concept, find a team of likeminded creatives and together bring a vision to life. It’s an amazing way to stay creative.
For this shoot we wanted to capture an elopement in Brooklyn while also tying in classic nyc elements. Our couple went for a walk around their neighborhood, enjoyed pizza at their local spot (cause everyone has one if they live in new york) and then got ready for their ceremony together in their apartment. We then went out for photos around Williamsburg and came back to their rooftop for a sunset ceremony. I love these photos and the team of creatives that brought this all together.
Here is the talent behind this shoot:
Stylist: Allison Koehler
Florist: Michelle Edgemont
Hair + Makeup: Amanda Thesen
And we wouldn’t have had this shoot unless we had the couple to be in the photos! Janssen and Mckinzy are the heart and soul behind Native Wedding Films. Janssen shot my own wedding and they are an incredible duo with so much talent.
