Frankies 457 Wedding

A wedding at my favorite restaurant ever? With a couple who also share my love for this restaurant? Yes please! Jeriana and Kevin are a creative couple (Jeriana is a costume designer and designed her own dress!) who live in Brooklyn. From their initial inquiry I knew I was going to love them.
Jeriana got ready with her Moms at a studio space in Flatiron. They then walked her over to Jefferson Market Garden for a small ceremony surrounded by their closest family. It was so surreal to be in the middle of the bustling city with brunch goers right across the street at Rosemary’s. Yet it was so intimate and quiet in the garden.
We made our way over to Gowanus for portraits where their dog, Peanut, came to say hi. Then we headed over to Frankie’s 457 where their friends and family were waiting to celebrate with them. They enjoyed a delicious dinner party with a few toasts. And before we knew it a brass band showed up to bring everyone to the after party. The second line band marched through the streets of Carroll Gardens, over the Gowanus canal and ended at the bar where the party continued.
I’m so excited about capturing Jeriana and Kevin’s wedding. There was so much pure happiness and joy throughout the day. It’s not all about perfect details and pretty flowers (even though that’s lovely too) it’s about families and friends coming together, having a great party and celebrating love. I hope you enjoy looking through their wedding as much as I enjoyed shooting it.

And thank you to my assistant, Claire Teator, for also taking a few photos throughout the day!
