Farm at Pond Lily Wedding

Charlotte and Scott had their wedding at the Farm at Pond Lily outside of Hudson, NY.  Their wedding was the first weekend in October, when the leaves were just beginning to change. This is my absolute favorite month to shoot in the Hudson Valley, and I was lucky to spend a few weekends upstate shooting Fall weddings this year.  And the colors were more and more gorgeous every weekend.

This was my first time shooting at this venue and I loved how centrally located everything was.  Charlotte got ready in the farm house on the property and Scott got ready just across the pond.  We took all their photos on the grounds and took their sunset photos with horses on top of the hill.  This venue checks off all the boxes if you ask me!

Charlotte’s design aesthetic for the day was impeccable.  From the carefully thought out mix matched bridesmaids dresses to the table linens at the reception, no detail was overlooked at this boho eclectic wedding.  She thought of every. single. thing.  But more importantly than the pretty details were the emotions throughout the day.  Charlotte had expressed how much she cared about having the candid moments captured on her wedding day and the candids are one of my favorite things about this wedding.  She shared a very special first look with her father before going to see Scott and I had tears in my eyes the entire time.  This was just one of many heartwarming moments from the day.
