Blithewold Mansion Wedding | Newport

It’s hard to believe Katie and Tom’s wedding at Blithewold Mansion was already last September. Time is flying and there are still many more weddings to be shared.  Katie and Tom’s Newport wedding weekend was your quintessential New England wedding – chic and beautiful without any details missed along the way.  They are the sweetest couple who really thought of everything, and the day was planned out impeccably. When Katie first reached out to me in 2017 her enthusiasm and overall grace made me adore her from the start.  And getting to know her and Tom over the year was a treat.

Katie got ready with her bridesmaids at her mother’s house and then shared a very special first look with her father moments before he walked her down the aisle at Trinity Church in Newport. They then hopped on a trolley to Blithewold Mansion where we took photos before cocktail hour. I could shoot at this venue over and over again and still find little hidden gems along the way. Katie grew up visiting Blithewold Mansion so luckily she knew all the spots! We took their sunset photos down by the water during an epic sunset. I’ll never forgot walking back up to the tent afterwards and seeing all the guests lined up along the lawn watching the sun set in awe. It was stunning.

I love this wedding and it makes me so excited for the 2018 wedding season to begin. There were so many beautiful moments, such amazing scenery and two families welcoming the other with open arms. Such a great day. Congratulations Katie and Tom! It was so much fun to be on this journey with you and I’m so happy for you both.
