Blackwater Pond Bridal Inspiration

I love having a vision for a shoot and putting all the pieces together.  Getting the dress, picking the location, figuring out the flowers, the list goes on.

Lily, a bohemian dress, a lavender flower crown and a quiet, peaceful morning on the Vineyard.  This was my vision for this particular morning.

Lily and I woke up before the sun did and picked the freshest flowers from the garden.   Then we headed over to a big open field in West Tisbury.  It was so quiet we could literally only hear the crickets.  Blackwater Pond was right next door and our next stop.  When we first got there the water was so still I wanted to run right across the lily pads.  The wind started to pick up which then made for some great messy hair and a beautiful flowing dress.
