High Hampton Inn Wedding

Alice and Scott had their wedding at the High Hampton Inn in the mountains of North Carolina. Walking around the property felt like I was at the camp in the movie Dirty Dancing. And fun fact this is where they filmed the Dirty Dancing remake coming out soon!  All their guests stayed in houses on the property. On Friday they had a day party down by the water and a welcome party at night.   On Saturday their ceremony overlooked the lake with the mountains in the background. Alice and Scott went for a short canoe trip right after their first look, and they had a second line parade from the cocktail hour down to the reception. The band was from New Orleans which is where the couple lives. I snuck away with the newlyweds for sunset photos in the dahlia farm just steps away from the reception tent. A dahlia farm.. does it really get any better? It does because Alice and Scott were a dream couple to photograph. Nothing could take their joy away and Alice was one of the most cheerful brides of all time. They wanted to have fun and that’s exactly what they did… with huge smiles on their faces. Alice and Scott, thank you so much for having me photograph your wedding. It was seriously a dream. :)
