2018 Wedding Recap
It’s hard to believe 2018 has already come to an end. I feel like I was just working on my 2017 wedding recap not that long ago. This past year was another special one, and I loved the variety I got to shoot this year. I spent a weekend in North Carolina for a wedding at a Summer camp. Another weekend I traveled around the city with a couple who eloped at city hall, celebrated on a boat around nyc and dined on the rooftop of the Nomad Hotel with family and friends. No two weekends ever felt the same. I also shot more weddings at city hall this year and I hope to shoot there more in 2019.
This post takes me a few days to put together every year. It is quite a daunting task but I really enjoy reliving each wedding day as I look back on the photos and I am grateful for the couples who hired me. I feel fortunate that I can have a job that brings both myself and my clients such joy.
In addition to shooting weddings this year I also continued shooting more commercial and lifestyle work which you can check out here! I never share any of this work under my wedding brand, Julia Elizabeth, but it really is a part of who I am and defines me as a photographer who shoots more than weddings. It keeps me creative and quite busy! I hope you’ll take a look!
Thank you so much for another amazing year and I’m looking forward to all the weddings I’ve booked for 2019. And if you’re looking for a photographer for 2019 please reach out!
And a huge thank you to Claire Teator and Eileen Meny who second shot for me this year and a few of their photos are trickled in above. :)
