Lace Factory Wedding

Shauna and Spencer spent their wedding morning at the beautiful Griswold Inn in the quaint town of Essex. The Griswold Inn is hundreds of years old and I love how you feel like you’re home when you are there.  I was first greeted by Shauna who was cool as a cucumber and her and her bridesmaids laughed all morning together.  She looked effortlessly beautiful in her Jim Helm gown which had the prettiest beaded detail.

Shauna did an incredible job with the decor which added so much beauty to the already stunning old lace factory.  The light beaming in through the old windows is one of my favorite things about this venue.  There were threats of rain all week and as Saturday rolled around the clouds disappeared and Shauna and Spencer had perfect weather for their August wedding.  The ceremony was situated against the side of the building with the party moving indoors for the reception.  As the party started to pick up we ran out for quick sunset photos in the backyard. It was an absolute pleasure to photograph their day (the kind where you’re done working and you still want to stick around with the party!) Enjoy!
