Los Angeles Engagement
I ended 2016 with one of my favorite shoots of all time and I thought the perfect time to share it would be when I launch my new site. So here we are! After months of working on all of this here is my new branding, my new site and Emily and RJ’s engagement shoot in Los Angeles.
I planned a quick trip to Cali and was so excited to shoot in different scenery and gorgeous light. I will say the east coast is filled with tons of different scenery. You can shoot at the beach, the mountains, pretty fields etc. but there’s something different about shooting in Cali. Maybe it’s the palm trees? The soft light? The warm sun beating down on you or maybe it’s just being somewhere new and different. Either way, it was amazing and made me want to travel more for work.
I met up with Emily and RJ at sunrise in Venice and to see this area completely empty was one of the coolest parts of my trip. The stores were still closed up, there were minimal people walking around and the weather was gorgeous. Emily and RJ are friends from back east who made the move to the better life out west. We hung around Venice, sipped on champagne and then headed to Abbot Kinney. Literally every 10 steps there was a great spot for a shot and luckily Emily and RJ were okay traveling all over to get these photos. We stopped at some of our favorite murals and then ended the shoot at In n Out Burger. Best decision ever. RJ and Emily are super chill and down for whatever. They made my job easy and I loved every second exploring this new area.
Love these two and so excited for their wedding next month!
