Crossed Keys Estate Wedding
It has been a while since I’ve blogged and I have a pile of weddings to share over the next few months. I just recently sent off my last wedding of 2017 and it feels a bit bittersweet. I’m so happy everyone has their photos to relive their day but a little sad my season has come to an end.
I shot two weddings at Crossed Keys Estate over Labor Day Weekend and I was so happy to get back there. I really enjoy shooting at Crossed Keys and these two weddings were no exception. Here’s the first wedding and I’ll share the other wedding soon!
Lauren and Erik got married on a sunny day in September. I really got to know Lauren and Erik the year leading up to their wedding (you can find their Mohonk Mountain House engagement shoot here) and was so excited for their day to finally arrive. Lauren got ready with her bridesmaids in the playhouse on the property while Erik got ready at the inn down the road. Their first look was just as adorable as they are and the day was filled with so much love. Lauren looked exceptional in her Reem Acra dress and Crossed Keys did an amazing job with the flowers. They fit right in with the day and matched perfectly with the look of the wedding party. After the ceremony, guests made their way to the tent for cocktail hour with lawn games waiting outside. After the speeches and toasts, we snuck away for sunset photos down behind the tent for a few minutes. Every time I shoot there I find new locations for photos. You literally can’t find a bad spot!
Congratulations Lauren and Erik! I am so incredibly happy for you.
Thank you to my second shooter, Claire Teator!
