Mohonk Mountain House Engagement

Last Fall, Lauren and Erik introduced me to probably one of the best hidden secrets of the Hudson Valley, Mohonk Mountain House. And while it’s not really a secret it’s just so hidden! And so so gorgeous. After hiking up to the top of the mountain we explored the grounds.  We stopped by the lily pond, the beautiful gardens and then went down by the water. I had so much fun exploring and chatting all things weddings.

After our shoot we had to hike back down to where we had parked. Little did we know how long the hike down would take and before we knew it we were in the middle of the woods in the pitch black! It was hysterical and made the shoot that much more adventurous. We all made it down safely and I’d do it all again for these photos with these two lovely humans!

Lauren and Erik, thank you for showing me such an awesome location.  I am so excited for your wedding in a few weeks!
